Oleana was founded in 2003 by designer and creative director Yanina Faour, a fourth generation Argentine jewelry designer born and raised in BA.
With a degree in Finance from Bentley University, US, and having filled various marketing and finance roles in private companies, Yanina felt the calling of her roots and now leads her own team in the design, production and sale of jewelry collections.
She invites you to explore the world of Oleana through distinctive bold jewelry lines inspired in Buenos Aires, a city world-renowned for its sophistication, European colonial architecture and cutting-edge design. Her pieces are handcrafted using precious metals, semi precious and precious gemstones sourced from her travels in Argentina.
Oleana’s Art Nouveau line was selected by French cosmetics company Guerlain to be associated with their brand in Argentina. Its collections also have been presented internationally at Paris Fashion Week and the Tokyo Rooms Fashion Fair. During two consecutive years Oleana has been awarded with the Argentinian “Seal of Good Design” by the Ministry of Industry in recognition of its innovative designs. Oleana’s pieces have been feautured in National and International Publications including Vogue Us, Vogue Latam, Vogue spain, L’officiel Mexico, Glamour, Travel and Leisure US and our sales showroom has been recently called one of the “10 reasons to love Buenos Aires” by Forbes US.Oleana Jewelry is currently sold in Argentina, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, US, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador and online worldwide.
Yanina is passionate about arts, she launched collaborations in capsule collection lines with contemporary Argentine visual artists. This includes Maladie with artist Celeste Martinez and more recently, the Carnivore collection with visual artist Paula Toto Blake, now available in the boutiques of the Buenos Aires’ Malba Museum and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts.
